Hello All, Hope you can make it to the SoCalCross Prestige Series finale and the last race of 2009 - Santa Cross this Sunday 12.20 at Pierce College in Woodland Hills, CA. Overall Series Awards throughout the day! Join in for the final race of 2009... Santa's Elfs Relay race benefiting the John Wayne Cancer Foundation at the conclusion of the elite men's race! $5 donation per rider requested... prizes from Sock Guy to best teams. One lucky entrant will win a set of Shimano XTR pedals! --Dot PRE-REGISTER by 9PM FRIDAY 12.18 and save $$$: SportsbaseOnline.com COURSE MAP here: Design will be similar to last year with some new features... Straight pavement start going left onto the dirt and off-camber slope past the expo and swinging around the the barriers (slightly uphill) then fast flat to the upper cross-country track down and up around the tree grove. Loose switchback turns to the top of the tree grove around the trees and off-camber down the hill into hairpin turn into the run up (possibly stairs up the hill then an S for slow turn around the hill for a final climb to the top before shooting down to the road for another lap 'o fun!!! Directions to Pierce College: Enter College at Winnetka (off 101 freeway). Turn LEFT on Brahma, then LEFT on Stadium Way, then LEFT into stadium parking (above stadium).
